Photo Exhibition “Soul, Voices of Freedom” by MCBRIGHT during the month of April:
Young self-taught photographer from Martinique, MCBRIGHT presents his first personal exhibition.
For his Baptism of fire, he decided to devote it to his biggest passion: SOUL music.
As part of a series of portraits in diptych format, MCBRIGHT traces the history of the Civil Rights Movement of African-Americans through the commitment of different artists and the activism of the defenders of the Civil Rights during the years 50 to 70.
“I want to raise awareness among young Generations on the role Soul music played in the fight for respect of the Civil Rights of African-Americans and of black populations in general. ”
Don’t miss the Vernissage on Saturday April 1st at 19:00!
